The term "Rou Gui" translates to Cassia Bark; commonly referred to as cinnamon though it has no relation to the tree (agriculturally)! Considered one of the most aromatic Rock Tea, Rou Gui has a sharp and roasted profile, suitable for tea aficionados who want a bolder flavour. This tea reveals a slight spiciness evocative of its eponymous spice. We found the minerality and roasted component to be perfectly balanced with peach-like sweetness and a floral aftertaste; A true testament to how a quality Rou Gui should taste like!
