This is one of those teas that does not smell or taste like its name (Duck Shit Oolong anyone?). This Ginseng Oolong combines Taiwan Alishan Oolong and Ginseng powder to produce a fragrant cup of tea with a wonderful flowery aroma. You'll be surprised to learn that it smells of fresh Osmanthus, and a tinge of Violets, with a hint of sweet and spicy Ginseng aftertaste. If only all ginseng tasted and smelled like this! Ginseng powder is added during the tea rolling process, producing a compact-looking pellet. Allowing the tea leaves to unfold fully during the initial brew will result in a well-balanced flavour even after several infusions.
