Introducing our first Tisane Tea - Wild Purple Yabao!

This distinct type of tea is commonly found in tiny compact little variegated buds and is noted for its robust flavor and creamy mouthfeel. While it’s common to find Yabao labelled as white tea or puerh (due to the processing methods) these rare buds are handpicked and sun-dry naturally with no other heat-fixing process (similar to Tisane). They also do not come from the same Camellia Sinensis tea plant but from the sprouts of Camellia Crassicolumna tea trees. It delivers a unique flavour experience while remaining caffeine-free and high in antioxidants! The first steep will greet you with a beautiful aroma of cream, roses, and candied citrus.

Suitable for multiple infusions and perfect for folks who like tea without the caffeine. No artificial flavorings or fragrances were added to this tea.

Fun fact - You can also try aging Yabao similarly to how you would age pu-erh! Aged Yabao will develop more complex notes over time, giving you a different flavor profile!
